With a lifelong passion for electronics and security, Ivor brings a wealth of international experience to TI Security. His journey began in his native South Africa, where he entered the security industry at just 18 years old. Since then, he has built a solid foundation in technical expertise and customer-focused service.

In New Zealand, Ivor took his vision a step further by launching TI Security, combining over two decades of experience with a strong drive for innovation and integrity. Known for his approachable nature and honest communication, Ivor is committed to delivering clear, reliable, and tailored security solutions to every client.

Meet Toni – Operations Manager

Toni has been a dedicated professional in the security industry since 2006. She began her career as a night-shift monitoring operator, where she developed a strong foundation in real-time response and client care. Over time, her skill set and leadership qualities led her to transition into operations management.

Today, Toni plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of TI Security. With a sharp focus on efficiency, client satisfaction, and internal coordination, she brings clarity and calm to even the busiest schedules. Her background in customer relations shines through in every client and team interaction.

Our Accreditation & Licensing

At TI Security, we take professional integrity and legal compliance seriously. We are proudly accredited by the Private Security Personnel Licensing Authority (PSPLA), an independent statutory body appointed by the Governor-General of New Zealand.

Why It Matters:

We hold both a Security Technician License and a Security Consulting License, ensuring that we meet all regulatory standards for both installation and consultation services. When choosing a security provider for your home or business, it’s crucial to verify that they are licensed by the PSPLA.

Unfortunately, many overlook this requirement, and anyone can legally install alarm and CCTV systems without the proper credentials. To safeguard your property and ensure quality service, always confirm that your service provider is properly licensed.

Know Your Rights:

Any technician visiting your property is legally required to present their License ID Badge upon arrival. This is a safeguard to ensure that only qualified professionals are working on your security system.
